When a manufacturer creates a product he does it to serve a purpose, fulfill a need, solve a problem.  The product it built to succeed.

Before this product is made its purpose must first be determined.  The creator searches out, studies, and considers the problem(s) that this product is going to solve.  These findings will dictate the design, whether it needs moving parts, what it’s made out of, it’s shape and color.  A manufacturer would never create a product without a purpose. The basic manufacturing process looks like this: Step 1: Define Purpose.  Step 2: Design – put inside this product everything it needs to fulfill its purpose. Step 3: Creation. This process predestines success.  Because success is built into it. The product has everything it needs to do what it was made to do, which is to succeed.

In Genesis 1 God said, “Let’s make man in our image, and our likeness.”  God made us in his image so we could succeed. We needed to be like him (think and operate) for the purpose of performing the duties and responsibilities that he gave us to do. In Romans 8:29-30 Paul said, “Those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”

Those God foreknew he predestined.  This goes back to the manufacturer process: Purpose, Design, Creation. God considered why you needed to be – Purpose; What you needed to succeed – Design; Then proceeded to create you. You were predestined – you have everything you need to become what you were purposed for. Jesus is the restoration of your original being. In him you are called, justified and glorified.

We are to be conformed to the Son. Everything Jesus did was to bring glory to the father. Jesus said, “As the father sent me so I send you.” Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. Let your light so shine before men that they see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.” The gifts you have been given are for you to use in this world, before men, so that they can taste and see who God actually is. You are to solve real world problems with kingdom solutions.

Jesus said in John 15:7-8, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” Jesus’ purpose was to bring glory to the father. Jesus said that our purpose is to bring glory to the father. The manufacturer’s process is: Purpose, Design, Creation so that you succeed.

Hebrews 1:3 says, “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being.” Jesus was the exact representation of the father. We were predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, who was the image of the Father.  Which is why Paul in 2 Corinthians 3:18 said, “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”  You are conformed to what you behold, which is why, on purpose, we behold the glory of the Lord.

Jesus in John 15:7 talks about the environment of beholding the glory of the Lord. He says, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you.” “If you remain in me” – this is belief in what Jesus actually said, about who he is and who you are; why he is and why you are.  Then he said, “And my words remain in you” – As you continually cultivate the truth you are being conformed to it. This process prunes incorrect thinking and beliefs so that what is left is glorious truth.  It’s this environment that produces desire, action, and fruit that brings glory to the Father and causes you to become conformed to the image of His Son. This is why Peter said in 2 Peter 1:3 “His divine power has given us everything we need for life, and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

My good peoples, it is to the Father’s glory that you bear much fruit.  If you remain in Him and His words remain in you, you will find you have everything you need to do everything you were called to do.  Go therefore and bring glory to the Father.
