I was thinking about Mark 4:26-29 that says,
“The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens. And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come.”
I have a couple ideas about getting involved in the schools to talk about personal development and business. I was picturing myself talking to a group of young people about potential and the fact that they are full of it. I was picturing these words of truth, hope, identity, purpose, vision, action and potential, being seeds that are planted in their hearts and minds.
These words stimulate thoughts, and these thoughts create pictures in the imagination. These pictures shine a light on a whole new perspective. As it says in the parable, “The earth produces the crop on its own.” The soil will produce a harvest, it just needs a farmer to plant a seed.
As we share thoughts and ideas of function, people begin to think differently. The cultivation of these new ideas produce encounters with God. These encounters with God create transformation.
What do you picture yourself doing? Where do you picture yourself doing it? What if these ideas you keep thinking about are the very things you should get into? Would you do it?
